Student-Led Conferences

Dear Cassiopeia Families,

We are midway through the third quarter and heading into the final
stretch. Our spring student-led conferences are upon us. This time, your
student will show how they exemplify the habits of mind and how they are
preparing themselves for high school. Educational research tells us that
children benefit greatly from having meaningful conversations about their
learning with important adults in their lives. To that end, we are
looking forward to scheduling a time where you and your child will be able
discuss learning with examples that demonstrate his or her learning and
growth.

We are scheduling conferences to be held in the school library on the late
afternoon / evenings of Tuesday, March 20th and Wednesday, March 21st.
It is expected that each student conduct a Student-Led conference with a
parent or a trusted adult. If no adult is able to attend on these days,
we will gladly make arrangements for you to conference with your student
at another time.

Please fill out the attached form and return by Friday, March 16th.
Conference times will be assigned on a first come – first serve basis.
